TEM is still working, but a TEM camera problem occurred from yesterday night. It looks like a communication problem, but after changing a cable, the problem remains. I have informed Gatan engineer and will continue trouble shooting tomorrow. Please check LEXI blog for more updates.. Please note that I have lubricated the TEM holders. You need to control the holder better when loading it into TEM.

The camera problem has been fixed. A user messed up the TEM settings, which caused us 4 days to find out what really happened. Please make sure that you do not change the settings. You must see TEM button and make sure that you really want to press/change it before you do it. Another issue I just found is the double tilt sample holder. It needs repairing. I am contacting a couple of people who is capable of repairing it. More update will be in a new message.
After communicating with Gatan engineer, it is concluded that the communication between the camera PC and TEM has a problem. TEM engineer will be on campus to check the TEM board and settings for communication today. I will check the cables which have a special connection. More updates later.
