The SEM was just down. It was not recovered by a simple trouble shooting. I sent a message to Tescan engineer and may not receive any response till Monday. I will keep you posted. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Engineer Karl has been working on the instrument this morning. The vacuum gauge has been fixed and baking is in progress. The instrument is expected to be up by tomorrow afternoon.
David did remote operation and found that the vacuum gauge could be an issue. Another engineer is scheduled to visit UCI on Wed and a part is shipped to us.
