Postdoctoral Researcher: OPEN

The Marazzi Lab is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill the position of Postdoctoral Researcher. A successful candidate will join a dynamic and innovative research team dedicated to advancing our understanding of epigenetic mechanisms and their role in human health and disease.

Position: As a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Marazzi Lab, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art facilities to investigate the epigenetic changes that occur in various biological processes. As a postdoctoral researcher, you would likely be expected to analyze and interpret experimental data, write scientific papers, and present your findings at conferences and seminars. You may also have opportunities to mentor and train graduate students, contribute to grant writing and funding applications, and participate in collaborative research projects.

Responsibility: You will collaborate with other researchers and faculty members to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and publish findings in top-tier scientific journals.

Qualification: Postdoc, experience in life science.

Knowledge and skills: Ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field such as genetics, molecular biology, or biochemistry and a strong background in epigenetics research. Experience with epigenetic assays such as ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, or bisulfite sequencing DNA methylation analysis is highly desirable, as well as experience with animal models. Your research may also involve studying the function of specific enzymes and proteins involved in epigenetic modifications, as well as exploring the effects of environmental factors and disease states on transcriptional regulation. You may collaborate with other scientists, such as principal investigators, other postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students, to share ideas, discuss findings, and contribute to the broader understanding of transcriptional epigenetics. Overall, as a postdoctoral researcher in transcriptional epigenetics, you would play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of how epigenetic modifications influence gene expression and contribute to various biological processes and diseases.

Requirement: Strong organizational skills with ability to balance multiple projects. Strong written and oral communication skills. Willingness to learn new techniques and to seek challenges. A track record of excellent first author publications.

Salary: This position offers a competitive salary and good benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement. If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for genetic and epigenetics research, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team at the Marazzi Lab.
