IUHSD Cell Biology Essay Contest winners awarded

CCBS outreach, in collaboration with the Irvine Unified High School District, held an essay contest for local middle and high school students. We awarded the winners in a ceremony on Saturday.

In this essay contest, we asked students to come up with a novel research question and outline a course of study to investigate it. This is an extremely difficult task, but our winners did a great job! They were awarded trophies and CCBS outreach t-shirts. Funding was supplied by an ASCB COMPASS outreach grant,
