Proton Flash Radiotherapy: Performance Characterization and Optimization of Design Parameters

Developing a Treatment Planning System and Monte Carlo analysis pipeline for Bragg Peak FLASH radiotherapy and assessing alignment sensitivities for 3D range modulator designs

Team Members:

Project Deliverables:

  • Monte Carlo parameter sweep analysis using a server with millions of simulated particles
  • Treatment Planning Dose rate studies for a liver tumor patient and a brain tumor patient
  • 3D Range modulator manufactured and verified
