Sensors in Extreme Environments (Phase II)

Testing Sensor durability in Extreme Environments

This project will develop a test apparatus designed to accelerate the exposure of sensors of interest to UV radiation.  The goal of this project is to gather and present information that will establish a relationship between sensor performance and exposure of the sensor to extreme environmental conditions.

Project Deliverables:

  • A test apparatus to allow accelerated exposure to UV exposure
  • Software/analysis strategies to define and virtualize the impact of sensor failure
  • Software/sensors to collect and visualize UV exposure data
