Hey there! My name is Mike Wood and I am a postdoc at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena as part of the NASA Postdoctoral Program. I work with Ian Fenty in the Sea Level and Ice group investigating the ocean’s influence on Greenland’s tidewater glaciers.

My current projects build and expand on my Ph.D. work at the University of California, Irvine, where I worked with Eric Rignot. Feel free to take a look around my site to discover what I’ve been up to at JPL and what I accomplished in my graduate program at UC Irvine.

About Me

I was born and raised in Southern California where I developed an interest in science and a love of the outdoors. I enjoy the surfing, climbing, running, and hiking which can be done in this area. If I’m not at my computer trying to untangle a bug in my code, I’m probably out doing one of those activities!
