The facility is equipped with a fully furnished radiochemistry laboratory. Several hundred chemicals for use in radioanalytical techniques and analyses are available for use in experiments, including standards from the National Institute of Standards and Measures (NIST) and its predecessor the National Bureau of Standards (NBS). Equipment for pre- and post-irradiation wet chemistry of samples is also available, composed of glassware, plasticware, and all manner of necessary utensils and paraphernalia.
