Our team of web developers and BI developers work together to create innovative applications, dashboards, and services that give staff access to key data elements about student progress and engagement. This allows them to quickly identify and address any issues that may be preventing students from reaching their full potential. What We Build
ScoreShare enables academic advisors to quickly access detailed Canvas score information for students to facilitate advising appointments and collaboration between advisors and students.
Teaching & Learning Analytics (TLA) serves the campus by creating dashboards and reports for advisors, instructors, and academic leaders to provide various lenses into both detailed and aggregated student data around student achievement, success, and retention.
Student Attribute Manager (SAM) provides an intuitive, easy way for partners to augment student data by creating and populating arbitrary attributes. A companion SAM Analytics toolkit provides insights into academic performance, demographics, and geographic distribution of students in SAM attributes.
UCI Appointments is a flexible office appointment scheduling system used across UCI in academic advising and student success units. A companion series of Appointments Analytics tools provides deeper insights into the students served by these offices with both row-level reports and aggregated dashboards.
COMING SOON • COMPASS Explorer will be the front door for UCI to access student success analytics resources supported by the various COMPASS partners, including Enrollment Management, Institutional Research, Teaching & Learning Analytics, and more.
The Insights platform is the underlying framework for ScoreShare and future tools that will use Canvas Data to help inform student success. In addition to tools for academic advisors, Insights will support tools for both instructors and students in the future.
