Photonics@UCI has a full slate of seminars planned for the Fall semester!

With the start of a new academic year, it seems like we’ve fully adjusted to the “new normal” everyone was speaking of over the summer. Graduate classes are entirely remote, research is resuming in a limited capacity, and almost all undergraduate classes are online at UCI starting the Fall 2020 quarter. Nothing other than the bare essentials are all that remains of the “old normal”, and most of the opportunities we took for granted are now postponed for the time being.

To fill the void left behind by putting all in-person seminars in escrow, we have been busy at work to provide the photonics community at UCI periodic reminders of the “old normal”. We have worked with members of the optics and photonics community from around Southern California to provide a set of seminars throughout the Fall quarter here at UCI.
