03/20/2023: Our 14T cryo-free cryostat (from Cryo Industries of America) is working and we got a magnetic field of 14T (without quenching the magnet). The base temperature is 1.5K. This cryostat is suspended and sitting on a floating table. It has an optical window at the bottom.

08/22/2022: The QMDL and LANL have teamed up to work together in a $5.3M award: “Discovering Quantum Anomalies Through Strain”
08/17/2022: Marshall will receive the inaugural UCI-LANL fellowship. This fellowship is between the LANL and UCI-Physical Sciences and only one student from the School of PS has been chosen. Congratulations Marshall!
