Rotaractors took some time out of their Saturday to volunteer at Mary’s Kitchen where they were able to serve food to people who are currently homeless. Members were responsible for washing dishes, preparing food, and serving the homeless. After their hard work, they were able enjoy a good meal themselves. Great job!
Rotaplast Fundraiser | November 14, 2012
In honor of National Cleft Awareness Week, Rotaractors set up a booth on campus and sold delicious chili-cheese bacon-wrapped hotdogs. Profits made from the fundraiser will be donated to Rotaplast in order to contribute to their efforts to provide reconstructive surgery to patients with cleft lips and cleft palates around the world. Every little bit counts. Later that evening, a Rotarian and member of Rotaplast attended Rotaract UCI’s general meeting to give a short presentation about Rotaplast.
