It is important to analyze these numbers as trends in patient volume are created, allowing for the laboratory to better prepare for our students based on trends for the corresponding month; for example, some months have a trend of showing a greater patient volume than others, like in September versus July, in which we can expect for the upcoming school year as well. Based on this information can we gauge how many resources to order and the amount of tests to be performed.
