SoCal BioEYEs is offered to schools free of charge and is run by volunteers. The cost of reagents for the school children and fish maintenance is covered by funding from an Inclusive Excellence Leadership Award from the office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, UCI and financial assistance from OC Stem.
