Exams
Provided the instructors have a Canvas course space created, they can administer their final exam online by creating an online quiz in Canvas. When creating a Canvas quiz, instructors can choose between a variety of quiz question types, as well as setting a time limit.
Here are some Canvas help guides to help you get started with creating an online quiz in Canvas:

- Remote exam proctoring platforms here.
- This webinar offered earlier by DTEI touches upon the topic of how to manage exams.
- Be sure to review these suggestions on remote exams here.
- Finally, if you plan to use Respondus to proctor exams, it is recommended that you test it a week before the exam.
Return to campus training required
All employees must complete the 15-minute Returning to Campus training available through the UC Learning Center. This training is required by Cal/OSHA and the California Department of Public Health. Even if you work remotely but might need to come to campus occasionally, you must complete the training. New employees have 30 days from their start date to complete this one-time-only training.
Virtual Computing Lab
The virtual computing lab allows students and faculty to use common research software such as Matlab, SPSS, SAS, and others in a virtual environment remotely.
Yuja
This is a great alternative to doing a live class. You can pre-record a lecture and post it to Canvas. Resources:
