As a part of the UCHRI project “Interrogating South Asia,” UCR South Asia Graduate Student Initiative along with Departments of Dance and English will organize a faculty round-table titled “South Asia: A Work in Progress” and an artiste talk by Nava Dance Theatre on February 13, 2020. Details are in the poster.
As scheduled, the grad-student workshop on the papers presented in the UCI South Asia Grad Conference will also be held on Feb.13th between 1 pm to 3 pm. This workshop aims at providing an opportunity for the presenters receiving in-depth peer-feedback from their assigned peer-members on the full version of their papers presented earlier at the UCI Conference.
The third event of “Interrogating South Asia” is tentatively scheduled on May 18, 2020 with Professor Vinayak Chaturvedi (History, UCI) leading a workshop on publishing in the Journal of Asian Studies (JAS) at UCI followed by Florian Lang’s exhibition at the Viewpoint Gallery.
