About Us
The Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) Student Chapter at UCI, founded in 2019, is a student organization dedicated to building a strong cybersecurity workforce by facilitating the recruitment, retention, and advancement for women in the field. Our organization is a student chapter of the national Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) organization.
Our student chapter provides our UCI community with opportunities for cybersecurity education, networking, and empowerment through professional and academic development events, networking and social activities, seminars, panels, and more. We also attend the annual WiCyS conference each year and represent our UCI student chapter. Our student chapter members include students across disciplines and academic paths, including undergraduate and graduate students from computer science and engineering, business, and law.
All UCI students interested in the cybersecurity and privacy fields are welcome to join WiCyS at UCI!
