FYI. WordPress 5.0 was released today.
This release includes some huge changes to the editor. WordPress is now using Gutenberg, a block-based editor as the default. If you or your clients prefer to stick with the classic editor, there is a Classic Editor plugin which will remain in WordPress through 2021.

We will be testing before rolling this out on UCI Sites and Faculty Websites as it will affect so many people. We won’t be upgrading until we’re back from winter break in January. As a feature update, this one will not happen automatically.
If you upgrade sooner, let everyone know your experience.
