Art and Climate Change

Why art and climate change?

Art, because it is a universal and intrinsic part of human nature, has the ability to communicate. Communication is vital in implementing change. Change is absolutely needed if we are to survive as a human species. Climate change is a massive and often scary topic because in discussing it we face the fact of our own mortality. Art has the ability, just like “Conservation through Creation” does, to bring together a multiplicity of disciplines in one room to have one discussion: how can we work together to solve this together. Art has the power to force everyone to see, consider, and tackle this topic in an unique way, communicating and changing our world one conversation at a time.
