Research Saturday
On June 03rd, the Finlayson-Pitts group participated in the 6th Annual Research Saturday event hosted by the UCI Chemistry Department. This is great opportunity for UCI Chemistry major and honor undergraduate students to visit prospective research labs and get a VIP tour of the research that we do!
Welcome Patricia!
This fall, Patricia Morris, a third year Chemistry undergraduate student (with a minor in Earth & Atmospheric Sciences) has joined the group to conduct research. Patricia is currently investigating new particle formation and growth from the reaction of methanesulfonic acid with multifunctional amines using our custom-build 1-m borrosilicate flow reactor – Welcome to the group Patricia!!
