Hello and welcome to our page! The three of us are incredibly excited to serve as coordinators for the upcoming academic year. We hope you all find this program useful, take full advantage of our resources, and get to know our wonderful tutors throughout the year. We wish you all a successful year of general chemistry!
Hey everyone! My name is Khang (pronounced as kang in kangaroo) and I am one of your GCPT coordinators. I am a third year human biological sciences/business administration student on the pre-med track and I have been a tutor in this program for approximately two years. Being a part of this program has granted me immense gratification knowing that I have made chemistry just a bit clearer for students and impacted their educational journey especially as chemistry is a daunting course for all students. Seeing my students progress throughout the chemistry series with increasing confidence and knowledge is the purpose of my participation in this program. As a GCPT coordinator, I aspire to increase the effectiveness and outreach of this program to allow for a greater proportion of students to have accessible tutoring in such a complex, yet fascinating course. Aside from academics, I enjoy longboarding, playing basketball, and doing essentially anything that gets my adrenaline pumping! I am also significantly invested in teaching everything, ranging from basketball to special education students. If you have any questions about the program, pre-med track, or just about anything, please feel free to reach out to me!

Hi everyone, I’m Zak! I have been a general chemistry peer tutor for two years and am now a coordinator for the program. I am a third year neurobiology major and plan to pursue a career in medicine. I very much enjoyed my six quarters as a tutor in the program and am now very much excited to help grow the program as a coordinator so that it can benefit as many students as possible.
