Coffee with the Clinicians is a community education series that Salon Benders in Long Beach graciously hosts.
At our last event on September 29th we all sat around the fire pit drinking coffee, and talking about transgender inclusive sexual health.
Jeffrey Vu, FNP and Jamie Swanson, LMFT discussed topics ranging from life for transmasculine people that are post hysterectomy, questions to ask providers for routine sexual health screenings, and debunking some transgender health myths.
We can’t wait to see people at our next Coffee with the Clinicians on January 26th from 9:00am to 11:00am. We will talk about the infamous mental health “letters.” What they are, why we need them, and how to get them.
