What insurances do you accept?

We accept most insurances, including Medi-Cal.

Who can become a patient of the Gender Diversity Program?

Anyone seeking resources or information regarding medical interventions for gender care can become a patient of our program. We see patients up to the age of all ages

What if I am outside of that age range?

UCI Health is committed to providing gender affirming trans care to patients of all ages. Our resources tab contains information about other providers and services available to the transgender community. 

How do I make an appointment?

You can make an appointment by calling our direct line, (714) 456-6025.

Do I need a referral?

This will depend on your specific insurance. HMO and Medi-cal policies typically require a referral to a specialist from a Primary Care Physician. 

Are you currently accepting new patients during the COVID Pandemic?

Yes, we are still accepting new patients. Patients are being seen via telehealth through UCI MyChart and Zoom.

Where is your clinic located?

We currently have three locations that patients can be seen by appointment only. The UCI Medical Center or UCI Manchester in Orange and Gottschalk Plaza in Irvine. Please be sure to confirm your appointment location via MyChart.
