The twelfth edition of GEOMED was slated to take place at the University of California, Irvine, during the month of August 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was postponed to October 2022. In an effort to bring together epidemiologists, spatial statisticians, geographers, and public health scientists and continue discussing — albeit in a virtual space — methods and applications of spatial analysis, the scientific committee of GEOMED XII decided to organize a series of regular webinars in preparation to the hopefully-in-person edition of GEOMED XII. A calendar and a list of those webinars is provided below.
