National Residence Hall Honorary

Mission Statement

The National Residence Hall Honorary at the University of California, Irvine – Anteater Chapter, strives to honor and recognize the members of on-campus housing communities. NRHH aspires to promote a higher quality of involvement and interaction among students and members of the chapter. The honorary also aims to bridge the four undergraduate communities through our main pillars: service and recognition.

The Two Pillars: Service and Recognition

Service:
Service is one of NRHH’s core values in establishing active, diverse, and strong housing communities. The honorary encourages residents and members of the chapter to engage in philanthropy efforts within our four undergraduate communities and the broader Orange County and Los Angeles area. Recognition:
NRHH believes it is important to recognize individuals who have contributed to the advancement of our housing communities. The Of The Months (OTMs) are NRHH’s main form of recognizing and honoring individuals for their leadership efforts.

NRHH Executive Board

Executive Chair: Leads the chapter in a direction that embodies the core values of the honorary.

Financial Chair: Takes lead in all aspects of NRHH finances. NRHH-FC is responsible for keeping an up to date NRHH budget, and is head of fundraising.

Leadership Development Chair: Organizes programs that aim to help and prepare residents for future leadership roles or opportunities.

Recognition Chair: Leads in all aspects of Of-The-Months (OTMs). NRHH-RC is responsible for organizing two main methods of recognition: General and Programming.

Service Chair: Develops and and organizes community service projects suggested by the region and coordinate the event with all four housing communities and Sustainability Resource Center (SRC)
