At UC Irvine, I served as Teaching Assistant in the following courses:

  • MAE 145 Theory of Machines Spring 2017
  • MAE 152 Introduction to Computer-Aided Design Winter 2017
  • MAE 150 Mechanics of Materials Fall 2014, Fall 2016, Fall 2017
  • MAE 189 Race Car Engineering Spring 2016
  • MAE 80 Dynamics Winter 2015
  • MAE 140 Mechanical Vibrations Fall 2015
  • MAE 295 Special Topics in Kinematics Summer 2014

Some special projects that I designed for these classes include:

Gear Train Analysis for Baja Vehicle

Goal: Show the students how to compute the speed of a vehicle accelerating from rest by

  • hand,
  • Excel,
  • Solidworks Motion Analysis

and to compare the results.

Stress Analysis using ANSYS

Goal: Show the students how to compute the maximum stress in a Rectangular Plate with Hole using stress concentration factor charts and ANSYS and to compare results.
