Punjabi language classes (virtual/remote) are available to UCI students through the support of the School of Social Sciences, the Sikh Studies Chair and the Department of Anthropology’s participation in the UC-wide Punjabi Without Walls initiative. No prior knowledge of Punjabi is needed to enroll in the three-quarter course sequence. Please contact the Social Sciences Registrar or Prof Hundle for more information.
In 2021, UC Irvine had the second highest number of student participants in the course after UC Davis (six students in Winter 2021, four students in Spring 2021).
