Customer campuses may choose a domain name for their UC Recruit instance. UC Recruit’s domain name may be a sub-domain of the campus .edu domain. To accomplish this, the customer campus will need to add a CNAME record for the chosen domain to their DNS.
The CNAME record should point to one of the following uci.edu domain names:
apucb.oit.uci.edu |
apucd.oit.uci.edu |
apucla.oit.uci.edu |
apucm.oit.uci.edu |
apucr.oit.uci.edu |
apucsb.oit.uci.edu |
apucsc.oit.uci.edu |
apucsf.oit.uci.edu |
Customer campuses are asked to create an SSL certificate for the chosen CNAME. All renewals are the responsibility of the customer campus. SSL certificate information, including private key, must be provided to UCI system administrators in order for UC Recruit to encrypt/decrypt HTTPS traffic.
