Dr. Alicja Jagiełło successfully defends doctoral thesis

On February 22, 2022, friends, family, faculty and fabulous UCI fellows gathered over Zoom to attend Dr. Alicja Jagiełło’s thesis presentation.  Yentl, Dr. Jagiełło’s beloved cat (in photo), was also in attendance. Alicja will continue using her extensive knowledge in optics in her new role as project lead at ASML, San Diego.  Congratulations Alicja, your future is laser sharp!
