UCI’s Center for Educational Partnerships publishes an annual college preparatory magazine, The Edge, to support high school students through the college application process and transition from high school to college.
University of California academic advisers who have in-depth knowledge about the college admissions process contribute to The Edge. They understand the most common challenges faced by high school and transfer students and work together to form an annual publication to assist students through the challenging application process.
The Edge often includes articles that address topics such as:

- Understanding which college pathway is best for the student
- FAFSA/DREAM Application
- College Timeline
- Personal Insight Questions
