5 months!

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that all infants be exclusively breastfed for about the first 6 months of life.

It is good to start talking to my parents about eating solid foods at my 4-month checkup so they can be ready and start looking for signs of readiness. Some clues that I am ready to be introduced to solid foods include sitting upright with little support and putting food, fingers, or toys in my mouth.

It is not healthy to introduce solid foods to me before 4 months of age.
