Rapid infant weight gain is defined as crossing 2 major percentiles (5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95) within the first 6 months of life. This would put me at increased risk of early childhood obesity. My weight gain was within normal limits, but make sure to check my trajectory from birth.
