UCI’s Virtual Geriatrics Education Series links our geriatric specialists ‘hub’ team with primary care providers in local and rural communities across California, the greater US, and even internationally. Primary care providers become part of our learning community, where they receive mentoring, feedback, and consultative discussion from our geriatric specialist team across a virtual network via case-based learning. This model enables primary care clinicians to treat their geriatric patients with complex conditions in their own communities.
