The Social Epidemiology and Research in Community Health Lab (SEARCH Lab) is lead by Dean Bernadette Boden-Albala. The mission of the SEARCH Lab is to provide students with opportunities to engage in Dr. Boden-Albala’s ongoing research projects and community-engaged public health initiatives on and off campus to improve community health and well-being. Dr. Albala’s research focuses on cardiometabolic health disparities (stroke, hypertension), social networks, healthy equity, community-based participatory research, and diversity and inclusion in clinical trials.
