UPDATES on Peter the Pavement Eater (PPE)
PPE is currently is AFR’s vehicle for the 2021-2022 Season. Our team of 40+ engineers are working diligently to design and manufacture the car for competition in June!
Currently, our Chassis and Suspension sub team has begun welding our chassis and is preparing to add tabs for suspension linkages and parts from other sub teams.
Subteams have begun adding their parts to our Master CAD as many of their designs are being finalized. Our teams have been have been ordering many of the necessary parts and manufacturing materials following the launch of our Zotfunder (Which can be found here).
Recently, the team purchased welding supplies, differential carriers, parts for the electric water pump, wheel bearings, fuel tank fittings, and harnesses and lap belts.
