Anteater Racing is rolling out a graphical redesign this week ahead of the new 2019-20 competition season! The new logo set beams UC Irvine Anteater Pride through its blue, gold and white color scheme, while the anteater emblem takes on a greater role in the team’s branding.
Designed in-house by Anteater Electric Racing engineer Mari Aquino, the refresh includes a new anteater emblem with a unique version that emphasizes what makes each car and team unique.
“With the Anteater emblem, were able to take different approaches,” said Aquino, “It was a natural fit to use a lightning bolt for Anteater Electric Racing. Anteater Baja Racing has a checkered bandana stripe because they compete in all terrains and conditions, while Anteater Formula Racing has a sleek, aerodynamic stripe since aero is such a vital part of their cars.”
The new graphics package will be used on the team’s website and social media channels, and will ultimately take center stage on our 2020 vehicles early next year.
Anteater Formula Racing Project Manager Noah Stein praised the design: “This is exactly what we need to charge forward into the next decade from a marketing standpoint, which will see us pursue a renewed reputation of excellence and success at Formula SAE and Baja SAE competitions.”
