What’s happening to EEE GradeBook?
EEE Canvas provides a fully-featured and highly integrated gradebook feature. Because of this, EEE GradeBook will be retired.
However, we are working on tools to help ease getting scores into Canvas from external sources, as well as get your scores out of Canvas and into WebGrades for final grade distribution.
When will EEE GradeBook be retired?
No timeline is currently available for the retirement of EEE GradeBook. When a timeline is available, it will be broadcast as broadly as possible to give you as much time as possible to migrate to EEE Canvas or self-management of grades.
What should I use instead?
Use EEE Canvas if possible; otherwise, you can continue to use EEE GradeBook.
If you start using the Canvas Grades feature and have any questions, or want help migrating from EEE GradeBook to Canvas Grades, please contact us; we’re here to help.
- To manage grades, use EEE Canvas:
- To convert grade files for import into EEE Canvas, you can use the custom “Convert file for import” feature we have created:
- To transfer grades from EEE Canvas to WebGrades, you can use the custom “Transfer to WebGrades” feature we have created:
Note that Instructure, the company that creates and maintains Canvas, has committed to enhancing their Gradebook experience, including a usability overhaul for instructors and students coming sometime in 2017.
