Slip distribution up to 3 meters in the quake. The thrust fault subduction beneath the North America Plate gains tension at 7 centimeters or 2.8 inch a year. The bottom white line is the boundary between the Pacific Plate below and the North America Plate above.
The intensity of the earthquake motion goes up to an eight, VIII, in orange. On the Aleutians it was more like a seven, VII, in intensity.
