Trump Can Count to Ten
It’s reassuring that Donald Trump, who presided over the world’s leading economy and nuclear power, and most advanced scientific power, can count to ten. At least, that is what he proved in his latest show of intelligence: “Two down, eight more to go.”
He was of course referring, in his Unelected Role as Absolute Dictator for Life of the Republican Party, to his retiring two of the ten upstanding and courageous Republican Representatives who dared to vote in the House for his Second Impeachment.
So this Innate Genius, by his own determination, can count as high as his fingers, which are, actually, small. Especially for the Ginormous size of his Ego. And the Ginormous and apparently Permanent Big Lie that he won the last election, but for the actual Highly Accurate Vote Count. Lost by 7 Million Very Angry Biden Voters. Trump, of course, claims that he won by 7 Million. Counting up to 7 million by a new number every second will take you 81 days. In September, 59% of Republicans still believed Trump’s Big Lie.
Okay, here are some real gripes. Did Trump do Anything to save American Lives from the Pandemic Coronavirus for the two and a half months from Election Day, November 3, 2020, until he was officially deposed of his Sworn Responsibilities as President of these United States, on January 20, 2021? Unfortunately, the latest IHME graphs of Covid deaths only start on Dec. 1, 2020. The total US Covid deaths between then and January 20th are 164,204. Dr. Birx said yesterday that had Trump been a Scientifically Respectful President, 30% to 40% of the Real Covid Deaths during his Reign could have been saved. This percentage range of 480,558 deaths would have saved 144,000 to 192,000 lives.
Instead, we are learning more every day, how he and his blinded super-loyal governing cohort spent every minute plotting to subvert the election in ALL Possible Ways, to make Trump Dictator for Life. It is now almost 11 months since Election Day, and Trump is Gloating that he has defeated his Second Republican Representative, Adam Kinzinger, of Illinois. Actually, it is the dominant Democratic Party of Illinois which had to make one less district, and Gerrymandered Kinzinger’s district to face another Republican in the primary, and make it more difficult for Kinzinger to get re-elected. The Democrats only lead the House by 5 votes. The Redistributed district is among those that went to Texas and has already been Gerrymandered into another Republican district, ignoring the fact that it was the increased Hispanic population of Texas that earned them the district.
Trump lost Illinois to Joe Biden by a Whopping 57.5% for Biden versus 40.6% for Trump. This loss was by more than a Million votes. On the other hand, Kinzinger won his House 16 district by an even larger 64.7% to 36.3%, and more than 100,000 votes.
The other Representative that Trump has forced to retire is Anthony Gonzalez from Ohio’s 16th.
Some people say that History Will Judge. What Nonsense. Either We Determine Our Own Destiny Now, or Forever Hold Your Peace. There are only Two Republicans who seem to be at all caring about History, as opposed to Reaping the Rewards of the Present Oilgarchs, and Avoiding the Wrath of the Trump Revengers. Yesterday, History was being rewritten by the Star of the Foxy Newsers, Tucker Carlson. He was claiming that the January 6 Insurrection was a False Flag event, that is, a massive staged event actually by Trump opponents, wasting their time and money to dress up as Trumpsters, come to the capitol, get beaten and gassed, and beat and gas the poor Capitol Police, to delay the vote for Biden?
Biden, unfortunately, did not completely win the Senate, or even the 50-50 tie. As we see daily, taking off from the RINO definition, there are two DINOS, (Democrats in Name Only), in the Senate. They may benefit from the party name, but represent the Superrich and Big Pharma, or The Coal and Gas Industries and oppose Climate Action. While the projected GDP sum over the next decade is $289 Trillion, or almost $300 Trillion, they balk at spending more than $1.75 Trillion now over the next decade on Social Reform for the Masses, or a Mere six tenths of One Percent. Speaking as a Mass Member, we deserve the full $3.5 Trillion of the BBB Biden Plan, which is a Mere 1.2% of the GDP.
Columbia University determined that money spent on more education would pay off by 8 to 1. Freeing up those home-bound by childcare needs will open up millions of new jobs. Failure to invest is failure to grow and reap the rewards.
The US Senate is the only deliberative body in the US charged with the concerns of the US as a whole, and with our policy with respect to the rest of the world. But it is also the House, concerned with losing out on social welfare, which have sent our President to the bi-annual UN Climate Change Conference, without firm commitments for a decade, and three decades from now. This will hold back commitments from the rest of the world and further the Climate Catastrophe.
