Trump Rules the GOP

Let’s see:  If you are Republicans who want to hide that Trump’s personal lawyer continuously lied for Trump, is your best strategy really to spend the whole day emphasizing that the lawyer is a liar?  After all, Michael Cohen has been lying for a decade for Trump.  We know that if someone is accused of lying by Trump, he or she is attacked that same day on Twitter by Trump, and immediately lined up for firing, or threatened.  It is impossible to believe that Cohen could have told lies for ten years concerning Trump, and Trump not having approved every one of them.

I really stuck my neck out recently pointing out Trump’s statements that he might not accept the results of an election which he lost.  He lately said that a Socialist would Never become President.  Now, Michael Cohen testified under oath to the House oversight committee:  “Given my experience working for Mr. Trump, I fear that if he loses the election in 2020, that there will never be a peaceful transition of power”.

The more Trump pitches the wall, the more attractive America appeals to asylum seekers.  Imagine you are stuck in a crime ridden Central American country ruled by gangs run by drug smugglers.  Then you hear for four years about a country free of murderers, rapists, and drugs, which is being secured for a pittance just by a simple wall.  Of course you want to walk for a month to reach such a paradise, that you can enjoy for the rest of your life and for your children.

Why don’t the Senate and House Republicans just get it over with and appoint Sir Donald of Queens the King, Emperor, or Supreme Leader for life, or all three at once.  Appointing an Attorney General and Associate Attorney General that gives the President broad powers and makes him untouchable is the same thing.  That’s called the Unitary Executive Theory.    At the same time, the Senate confirms two Supreme Court Justices, one of who’s seats is stolen by Mitch McConnel, and the other who is accused of rape, and is in love with beer.  Both were chosen for their originalist and religious beliefs.  Then the Senators refusing to stand in the way of Sir Donald usurping the Power of the Purse.  Then discouraging any other Republican from running against the King, and keeping the same fast track primaries that will allow His Highness to triumph as he did with only a third of the primary voters before.  Or, as our Omniscient Emperor declares:  Bing, Bing, Bang.  First you do this, then you do that, yada, yada, yada.
