Trump’s Frightening Halloween
First of all, Trump and Rudy have initiated what even Trump labels “The Greatest Witch Hunt in American History.” As I recall then, the second greatest must have been the 100 contacts with Russia and the 10 obstructions of the Mueller investigation. The scariest thing is that half of Americans haven’t even heard about the Ukraine scandal. The other thing is that the publicity in right-wing media will just make Biden look suspicious, rather than Trump, Rudy, and Barr. Another scary aspect is that Trump can just play his puppet Republicans for outrageous acts and statements of support and other misrepresentations of the investigation. How scary is it that right after bypassing impeachment for cheating on one election, Trump launches full deployment on cheating on the upcoming election. And he will get away with it since the Senate won’t impeach him.
A minor note in an article on impeachment is that a political hack was NSC senior director for weapons of mass destruction and biodefense. Then, he was the top presidential adviser on Russia and Europe. John Bolton brought Tim Morrison into this role. Morrison was interviewed today by the combined committees, as a listener to the Trump Quid pro Quo call, and admitted to that deal. But, he said it was nothing wrong, as the hack that he is. He previously worked for conservator Senators. He resigned a few days ago. Before his White House positions, he was policy director for the Republican staff on the House defense panel. He is 40-41 years old, and 7 foot 1 inch. He has a JD law degree from George Washington University. Wikipedia says he is known as a “nuclear superhawk”, and a “a fierce critic of New START and other arms treaties.” That is the scariest thing that I couldn’t even imagine.
Say you are looking for an apartment or hotel room on fifth avenue in NYC, and you hear about a Tower, with 238 units. But then you hear that the owner continually raves that he can kill anybody on Fifth Avenue and get away with it. Will that attract other criminals to his tower on Fifth Avenue?The situation got so bad that the NY City Chief of Police had to make a statement that the owner really couldn’t get away with it. Not the brightest rental or sales strategy for Donald Trump and his Tower. Not a place to safely Trick or Treat.
I’m watching a program on the 13 scariest movies of all times. They are now on zombies, that eat up brains. Sort of an allegory to the Trump administration. Now they are showing scary clowns. I’ll leave it there.
